Recently I have fallen victim to Nendoroid collecting disease. They’re just so darn cute! The first Nendoroid that I pre-ordered was Ciel Phantomhive and luckily Sebastian Michaelis had also been re-released to coincide with Ciel’s release.
It was obviously assumed that if you were going to buy the Ciel nendoroid that you’d either have Sebastian already or would be ordering Sebastian also, since Ciel comes with accessories for Sebastian. Honestly I thought that was a little odd and if I’d only ordered Ciel, I’d be pretty annoyed to get accessories for another figure I wasn’t going to order.
I’m pretty happy with these figures. The paint is excellent, the accessories are neat, and the different expressions are amusing. Sebastian comes with a black kitty, whose paw he squeezes (I love the expression on the cat’s face!), and Ciel comes with a chair to lounge in and look noble.
Ciel comes with an extra set of arms for Sebastian, one with a towel over it and one to hold a tray with a tea set so that he may properly wait upon his young master.
