Mission Statement

Mission statement!  I’ve been wanting to post on my purpose with my blog, so it seems like a page explaining it is as good an idea as any.  Probably better than a post, this keeps it easy to find and update.

Anyway. My purpose: this is a hobby.  A blog for fun.  The purpose is to document my own personal experience as an otaku, and to give my opinion on various topics, mostly centered around anime, manga, and video games.  While I have no problem having other people post, I won’t actively seek them out.  Unless I have an idea for a project.

I currently don’t plan to make money from this.  At all.  My view on monetization is that I should have some kind of product or merchandise.  And that is not going to be happening any time soon.  Heck, I still don’t have my own logo (yet, will have to work on that).

Also, I do moderate comments.  If you’re a first time commenter, I’ll have to approve your comment and after that, you can post away.  Unless I take offense at one of your comments, in which case I’ll delete it.  If you have a problem with that, you’re free to get your own blog and rant away – it’s free after all.
