Minion For Hire #002: Revenge

Miku got her revenge! For anyone that’s curious, she’s reading Seven Days: Monday – Thursday by Rihito Takarai and Venio Tachibana. I have the smaller Kindle, so it’s not actually suited to reading manga, the pages show up well, but the writing ends up way too small, and zooming on the page then scrolling around it is a pain in the rear.

Minion For Hire 001: Spoilers

But really I was *spoiler* when *spoiler* *spoilered* It was *spoiler*

This is a good indication of how my sense of humor works. Now I’m going to sit back and see if anyone else thinks this stuff is funny. The Kevin Costner joke is actually me making fun of myself, because I keep looking up “A Dance With Dragons” as “Dances with Dragons.”

Minion For Hire Preview

I came up with a title and starting premise: Minion for Hire. I have an initial strip planned, I just need to think up dialog for it, plus more strips.

But in the meantime, a preview!

This took a LOT longer than it should have. It was a pretty simple concept with pretty simple execution – or so I thought. Unfortunately, I can’t afford a new version of photoshop (I have an old version on an old tower), so I tried to make do with the Gimp. Suffice to say, the Gimp confuses the heck out of me, and if I had been using my old program, this wouldn’t have taken nearly so long. So I think I’ll probably start with the more time consuming method of moving files between computers, but their overall quality should improve.

(Kaito belongs to Crypton Future Media, Saber belongs to Type-Moon, and Stocking belongs to Gainax.)
